Motivated. Adaptable. Collaborative.
My background in Architecture.
As an architectural design graduate (2017), I was captivated by the design processes and philosophies of architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and Tadao Ando (to name a few). Their work ignited my passion for organic forms, simplicity, and minimalism.
The desire to create spaces that evoke emotion and curate experiences that resonate with people fueled my "people-first" design philosophy.
But, it wasn’t enough.
While I loved the creative freedom of academic architecture, the industry was a slow walk, and I craved for a sprint.
I yearned to curate experiences quicker and impact a larger group of people with every iteration.
My UX discovery.
When the pandemic hit, I found myself unexpectedly out of work. Instead of dwelling on the setback, I saw it as an opportunity to explore new paths.
That’s when I stumbled across the field of UX Design and since then I have never looked back.
From pillars to pixels.
My architectural background proved invaluable in my UX journey. Those foundational skills accelerated my self-learning path of UX Design.
I've always been an active learner, problem-solver and a motivated designer. I believe these qualities were instrumental in securing my first UX role at a billion-dollar company within nine months of being laid off.
Outside of work,
I am a devoted Formula One fan (Hamilton!). During race breaks, I recharge by hiking, playing sports, and losing myself in games and movies.
I love being around animals (especially dogs) and I find comfort in doodling and building Legos.
